Sick But Still Doing the Work!

Monday : We had p-day! Woo hoo. We had dinner with the Casey family. They are super nice. Dinner was so good! It was nice being there with them and talking about conference. All of our plans fell through . . . but that happens. It gets a little stressful at times. But it's those moments that help you turn to Heavenly Father even more.

Tuesday: We had a very busy day. We helped a family move out of their house. We then saw Sister Black. She is super fun. We got to sing to her, we always sing her a hymn. So we sang "Where can I turn for peace?" It was a great experience. She needed that hymn. We met with others as well It was a great day. Towards the evening I started feeling sick. We kept going. Tuesdays are our busiest days. So many good things happened, we visited Sister Biffle who is a less active. We talked about family history and she told us she wanted to do it so bad. After our lesson we went to the church building to fill up our water bottles. Shortly after we saw Sister Biffle ,she wanted her membership number so she could use the church website to do family history. She hasn't been to church or even in a church building in forever.

Wednesday : We had zone meeting. Great things were said. We had interviews with our mission president. Which went really well. I was for sure sick (just a bad cold) We taught Jackie about Faith. She is doing very well. She wants to be baptized so bad. (May 2).

Thursday : We visited with Rick. I mostly slept the whole day because of my fever. We only visited the people we had scheduled. Over all it was good day.

Friday : Service I got a sun burn...shocker huh? ...that's what I thought. We visited quite a few people. Over all it was a good. One of the youth less-actives we met with, Amanda. Her lessons are usually super short. We had an hour long lesson with her. She talked to us like we were normal people. The name tag throws people off. But it was nice talking to her and truly seeing her as Heavenly Father sees her.

Saturday: Over all a great day . I started feeling way better! We were able to visit more people. And We finished weekly planning. We taught Greg his first new member lesson. And it was great, Brother Hull, a new ward missionary in the ward, came with us. We taught the restoration. And talked a lot about how much the gospel of Jesus Christ does bless our families.

Sunday : Sick again...ugh! We went to teach Jackie and it went really well. She brought three of her friends, and two of them want to be taught. One of them wants to be baptized when Jackie is. Holy Cow! We gotta get going with her lessons!

This week was crazy. Sorry I'm out of time. I'll talk more next week! Love you all!
